in 1983, we are renowned for our culinary programs. Our recent affiliation with
Le Cordon Bleu is a testament to our dedication to culinary excellence. We differentiate
ourselves from other culinary institutions by using the European hands-on approach
to culinary education. We prepare more students in the Chicagoland area for successful
careers in the food service industry than anyone else. Anyone
who has a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn will succeeds at the
Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago.Our students range from recent high
school graduates, to professionals ready to make a career change, to international
students. Our facilities include four, 2000 square-foot kitchens
complete with everything from modern cooking lines to walk-in refrigerators and
automatic dishwashers. The Institute also features air-conditioned classrooms,
a 20-work station student computer lab, and an extensive research library. The
CHIC Café continues to be a showcase for our advanced culinary students.
